We are sorry to interrupt the regular programming..

.. for we have just found the most adorable (fictitious) woman ever.

Whovudda guessed it was to be a Czech pianist who sells flowers in Dublin?

"Die today, coz tomorrow has no love for you. And life without love is like death anyway."

.. her shadow stretched out from behind, as the moonlight lingered around her silent presence.

He walked up to the wall, a white one in that blackened room. A button switch to its side, next to a Dennis Stock. A hunched man in a black overcoat walked a misty New York street, cigarette hanging between his lips and eyes grimacing the cold morning. He could nt see the picture in the darkness, but he knew it enough. His gray finger pushed out at the switch, the light turned on.

A blanket snatched, bared against the light she sat, chin between her knees, arms folded around them. She swayed back and forth nervously, measuring her breaths. The cigarette lay on the floor next to her, dying its slow meandering death. It had another two minutes in it, as it ashed itself.

In a quiet room which had but a light bulb under cover, words fallen to the ground and eyes robbed of their pride.. the other pair of knees buckled to the ground near her.

When routine bites hard
And ambitions are low
And resentment rides high
But emotions wont grow

And we re changing our ways, taking different routes

Then love, love will tear us apart again

(Joy Division)

For years now, this image haunted me. There is a strange sense of apparition to it. A cold man in a big city wondering what his words mean. I saw it for the first time, when I did nt know who James Dean was. Years later, I saw it again.. quite frequently. Then I stopped. Yesterday, I thought I saw it again, but it did nt ve Times Square or Dean, it was not even Dennis Stock. It was a movie about Ian Curtis.

Anton Corbijn is a photographer who clicks famous pictures of famous people, in black and white. Ironically. The movie was an extension of this occupation.

It is a lovely movie, if you know what you are looking for. It, more importantly, introduces you to the music of an ole English band called Joy Division. And a wonderful actor named Sam Riley.

It has been that sort of week, when you realize there's so much around you.. that you did nt know happened.

And since we are talking about Brit bands and good lyricists, I bought this CD yesterday which is quite endearing. Makes for a good post break-up gift, may be.

Polanski, is that you? Good gosh, fella.. you look like a twerp!!

So it was a Thursday night and a friend had us believe that this was the best slapstick horror movie ever. So we obliged.

Somewhere close to the end of the movie,
Head: Innkeeper's daughters are sinful. Especially those who look like Sharon Tate.
Me: True. Very true.
Head: Hm.

There was too much wine in the tomato sauce, may be.

P.S. Here's what you could also watch if you wanna have a good time.
